Copepds, I need to know about the birds and the bees...

How do copepods reproduce? I figure that if they are hermaphidites that I will have a fuge full of them sooner than if they need a mate of the opposite sex. Thanks.

Well, in all honesty, I am as blind as a bat, so they would have to have fluorescent blue and pink antennae for me to tell the difference, if there is a difference.

I dont know nor am I sure if even Dr Ron would know truly how they reproduce. One thing I do know is that their population will go thru various statges from very low to very high depending on the amount of food that they can get. IF there is an abundance of food then their populations will boom if there is a shortage then only the stronge survive.

I didn't know what a copepod was, so I looked. I think they freak me out...

See when two copepods love each other....they tend to want to be close to one another....
