Okay. I am new at this. I am going to order a polyp and mushroom for my 6 gallon nano cube. I have about 9 lbs. of live rock. When I reciee the corals, can I remove them from the rock piece, and place it to my rocks or the rock has to be attached? Is there someway of making the live rock smaller in size? Thanks!:king:

Yup... a hammer.

Regarding the mushrooms, you can always chip the rock away from around the foot of the mushroom to make it smaller. Or peel a "veneer" or rock off. But don't try and separate the mushroom from the rock. They don't like that, and most likely you'd kill it in the process. (That foot stays stuck really good!)

And if you're talking zoanthid "polyps", the same thing applies.
