coral propagation

I wasn't sure where to post this as the coral isn't sick. I have a gigantic pink colt coral in my 40 gallon breeder. And when I say gigantic, I mean GINORMOUS!!! How would I propagate this type of coral? I've never attempted cutting my corals in the past for fear of killing them. Any ideas/experience on how to go about doing this? TIA.

I felt the same way when I first fragged mine. It was really easier than I thought and nothing died. You will be OK. Read the article that Ray posted.
