coral turning brown

Is this considered algae. I'm guessing it's from the lighting, just a poweglo flo tube. Tanks been up for bout 2 weeks. I have a white coral in the center and it's developing brown spots on it. I'm considering getting more lighting in the future. :uzi: :angel:
 
Probably is algae of some sort although 2 weeks is pretty young to be getting much in the way of algae. I"m assuming you are talking about a dead coral skeleton? Brown usually means diatoms although they usually don't appear in force until the tank is cycled.
