Recently I completely emptied my 90 Gallon corner aquarium to replace the stand and then filled it up with fresh saltwater. I did it all in one day but now I have noticed that the coralline algae has turned white. Why is this and is it bad? I have tested the water parameters and everything has checked out. Right now the only thing in there is the live rock. Before emptying the aquarium I had it set up for about 2yrs.

putting new water i think your tank needs to be cycled again. which might kill off the coraline. wait till one of these pros answer you just to confirm :)

It's just bleaching, did you change the lighting? It will grow back.

It will do that when you place it in a new envionment weather it`s chemical or lighting. As Scott said it will grow back and with a vengence.
