Hey guys I am a week into my cycle and my ammonia is peaking when should I expect this to come down and my nitrate to start to rise?

Any day now. Are you testing your water daily? If so you should see the Nitrate rise as the ammonia and nitrite go down.

Ya I test it a least once a day I am ver anxious. My ammonia has been very high for days.

Be patient....time is what it takes! You will get there and you will be happier and have a much easier time with this hobby if you take your time and be patient!!!!

Where do you get your pure ammonia?
