cycle over?

hey guys this is whats going down..
4the week into the cycle.
PH = 7.8 - 8.0
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 0 - 5.0ppm
Alk = 125.3ppm
SG = 1.022 - 1.023
Temp = 78
Is it time for PWC and my first fish? If so how much?

one more thing... i have a fluval 403 that has pads and bio balls should i take them out and just use the fluval for circulation?

PH is a little low, should be 8.2...SG should be around 1.025, looks like you are almost there...

i would say his cycle is complete if hes not registering any nitrites or ammonia and his nitrate is still there

ok i just tested for Nitrate again... and its now 20ppm.

you were adding somethign to create ammonia though, right? like pure ammonia, or a cocktail shrimp...ie a fishless cycle?

cool thanks for the reply... so i will do my PWC now and see how things go from there. If there is any problems i can always return my clown to its current 10gal tank.
