Cycling a 29 Gallon FO Tank.

I'm currently waiting for the huge milky white cloud in my tank to settle (added 4" DSB) and decided I might as well throw in the raw jumbo cocktail shrimp in since that's going to take a few weeks.

No problem with that right? Theoretically won't the "helpful" bacteria I'm growing help "weigh" down the sand particles?

Yes, the sand will be weighted down soon with all kinds of nice bacteria...
