cycling question

is it possible to cycle a tank with live rock that is already cured?

can some one explain to me the process that i would need to go through to accomplish this. my tank is ready i just need to wait till next pay period to get my rock.

if it is already cured then it will have minimal dieoff, so minimal cycle. you can use a raw shrimp from the grocery store and throw it in there, that will kick off a cycle. go to the articles section for more info on it.
