Cycling 55 gallon sw tank very high ammonia levels. Should there be a oxygen source or not ? No nitrate or nitrate levels yet.

If you have good surface agitation you will be fine!

What do you want to do add oxygen to the tank? Not needed unless you have no surface agitation or tank is completely enclosed!

I have two hang on filters. Two 1200 powerheads. And glass lids. Should a push oxy through powerheads ?

that should provide plenty of oxygenation. just be patient or get some filter media from your LFS or a friend to speed up the process
