Cycling tank -- ammonia ?

This might not belong here in this thread, if so I'm sure you'll move it. But after reading clown's problems, I decided to go with the fishless method. So far its been a week cycling. Ammonia is WAY up there. I was planning on putting some of the LR from my other tank in there to speed up the process, but now I'm wondering if the ammonia won't kill all the "lives" in my live rock? :scatter:

What is your ammonia reading? I suspect its to high to put LR in the tank at this point.
