cycling update:
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 5.0 to 10 was in between colors
ammonia = .50
End of week 1 results.
I was reading that my Nitrate needs to be around 40 for Freshwater, but saltwater should only be around 1? So I should see my ammonia increase a little bit more, then my Nitrite go up as it converts my ammonia to nitrite then my Nitrate will clime as my nitrite is converted to Nitrate. Is that how the process should work? I figured my Nitrate is already 5 to 10 because I used already cured live rock (which gave me a little nitrate source) right?
also will my Nitrate level decrease once my ammonia is nitrite is depleted?
