Aquarium Advice Regular
So my tank has been up and running for a week now. I have my 35 lbs of live rock as well as 5 pounds of dry rock and about 45lbs of live sand. I placed a single uncooked raw jumbo shrimp in, along with some cycle boosting jelly that came with my live sand. I hadnt noticed much change, til about 2 days after the shrimp was in the water, which caused my nitrite to go up a bit.
My water conditions as of 10/26/09 are:
Nitrate: 20 mg/L
Nitrite: .25 mg/L
Ammonia: .5 mg/L
PH: 8.2
Water temp: 80.7 degrees F
