Good skimmer, but not the best pump. A few sites have been selling a Bak-pak 3R, which is the same model but uses a Maxi-jet 1200 pump instead of a Rio 600.

I've converted my 2R to use a maxi jet, and love it. So much better than the RIO piece of junk. (there's a thread in the Hardware section of the main forums page that tells you how to do this)

If you hit www.amekaaquatics.com and look at Factory Seconds, you can get a new CPR skimmer that might have a scratch on it for $104 plus shipping. Factory seconds means cosmetic defects. That's where I ordered my CPR, and I never found any blemishes.
