Damsel fish hosting carpet anemone

So today I just bought a yellowtail damsel fish and I was looking around on the Internet doing some reading and found out that damsel fish can host anemones so is it possible that my yellowtail will host my carpet anemone.

I hope I`m wrong but my opinion is that the carpet will kill the damsel. Hopefully the damsel will stay away from it.

It's the black damsel with white dots that host anemones. Your little guy will end up as lunch if he gets to close
