I would either put a raw shrimp in and let it decompose or does with PURE ammonia. I did the ammonia route. If it has cycled you will see ammonia spike and start coming down while nitrite rises. Next the nitrite will start coming down while nitrate starts to climb. Once ammonia and nitrite are at 0 do PWCs until nitrate is below 10 or better yet bellow 5.

So add ammonia or shrimp even if there's ammonia now

You may be fine but if the amonia never got above 0.25 it may not have triggered much growth in the BB. You have some but most likely not a lot. If you does the AM or use shrimp it will raise the am levels higher cause more BB to grow which in turn will help when you add fish. I am not nearly as experienced as others on this site but if it were me that is what I would do. You may be able to get by with one hearty fish and then add more slowly over time.

New pic I added a Cuc last week and did a water change today this is what I have

trates 40
Ammonia 0
trites 0
Ph 7.8
salinity 32
s gravity 1.024

Is my tank ready?

Sorry my trates are at 20 sorry

I would dose a little bit of ammonia, give it about 30 min and check to see if am got up to around 4 ppm. Then give it a couple of hours and check everything again. What you want to see is am rise then fall as nitrite rises. Then you want to see nitrite start to fall while nitrate rises. If that is happening, let the am and nitrite fall to 0 and then do partial water changes until you get the nitrates down at least below 10 but preferablly close to 0. Then you are good to go. :)

Update

Just added last week 3 chromis and this week a cleaner shrimp and a protein skimmer, tanks doing good, just want some ideas on some fish to add with the Chromis thanks

Question I add a cleaner shrimp and a clown last friday and I have me 3 Chromis in there as well, will I be ok to add a yellow tang, or should I add a coral, or is a Coral to early for my tank.

Also just purchased a ReefKeeper lite for $108 brand new so I'll be adding that soon as I get it.
