Day 18 of Cycle

Tested water 3 times to make sure.... Ammo 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 0..... Is this/ Can this be right that Cycle is over already?

What did you use to cycle? Do you have LR or live sand/how much?

If you saw a spike in ammonia and spike in nitrite then spike in nitrate and no all levels are 0 then it's cycled. Doesn't seem likely though.

Sounds like a lot to start the cycle. How big is your tank? Did you ever test the water before? Kind of weird how there's no nitrates.

I checked Saturday nitrates were at 10. They test between 0 and 5... color closer to 0. It is a 75 gallon tank

But you never saw an ammonia spike? Sounds cycled though. If you have a lot of LR/live sand it can cycle quickly.

The highest it got was 1.5, I have diatoms on my sand bed. Even my hitchhiker urchins survived the cycle.

It cycled then, but wasn't a "strong" cycle where you reach 4 ppm nitrate. Tough urchins.
