Yeah I've been getting advice from his videos on youtube.

I don't think its a good idea to go 80 days without some kind of water change. Skimmers can't pick up all DOCs and we can't measure DOCs, so water change is needed at least once a month to remove more DOCs. Then perhaps do small water changes to help get rid of some build-up of solid waste.
