Hello all, trying to get things settled. So I just set up my new to me 120, and have had to move everything from my 30 way to soon. I know bad bad but I really didn't have a choice. Anyhoo my question is I'm in the tail end of my cycle and the diatoms are taking over. I'm doing lots of water changes and I'm wondering if that will help or is there another way to slow them down? Also my nitrates are spiking! Can I do water changes everyday? I'm using RODI water. Would this be a good time to fire up my uv sterilizer?
