i just transfered to my new 75 from a 29. there is some new rock, some new sand and now MH lights instead of PC. also a new skimmer. ASM G1X.
the transfer was about a week ago and now i am getting what i think is diatoms. it is a brown algae with short sparse hairs sticking up. mainly on the sand but also on some rock. does this happen with newly transfered tanks? i did have it when i first set up the 29 also. BTW, i run a phosban reactor and use RO water
