I was wondering if Diatoms can also be apart of Jump starting Coraling Growth? I notice were ever there is diatoms growning, on glass and on the bottom of my LS there is also Coraline right there starting to grown....Could diatoms be a small jump starter for Coraline growth?

Not that I know of. Diatoms live off of silicates and light, it's a different kind of algae. Coraline lives off light, alk, calcium and mag or kH (I think).
