diatoms going, red spots showing up?

These red spots are showing up in my LR. They are no larger than the diameter of a pencil eraser. Any ideas and what to do about it if it is bad?TIA!

they look like little blobs of playdough, or is it flat?

If looks like blobs, then more then likely they are forminithingies....

They are flat and are removed easily from brushing.
