Greetings.

Skip. In one of your posts you mentioned that you removed the charcoal from your power filter, but left the filter floss in. How long have you had the filter floss in the filter?

It could be the cause of your problems if it has been there too long and too dirty.

I removed the charcoal to help trick ick. That was the only reason.

I removed my UGF and CC. I replaced with a 3" DSB and now my water quality is very good. It fixed this almost instantly.

I still use the floss and one cart. with charcoal.
