Do I need a protien skimmer?? Just corals

I'm gonna be getting a reef tank in the near future and I'm only planning on doing a coral tank. As this will be my first reef tank, I'm planning on doing a 10 gallon tank. Question is do I really need a protein skimmer if all I'm putting in are corals and no fish?? Hope to get some replies!

Should be fine without one, just keep up on water changes.

Yup, no skimmer needed. Just make sure to keep nitrates in check. No skipping out on water changes either.

Ok I've always been really good with constant water changes so it'll be all the same habits as before I'm so excited to get my tank. Thanks for the help everyone!
