Do small tanks take longer to cycle?

Just wondering if the size of a tank affects the time it takes to cycle.

My 10gal is over three weeks old and seems to be holding at .50ppm of ammonia, never got above 1.0, no nitrites yet at all. Does this mean it is still in the early stages of the cycle?

In my 5 gal on my desk at work, it took 5 weeks to cycle. About the same as my 55 did...
