Does anything eat macro algae?

If I was to put chaeto in my main tank, would anything eat it? Shrimp? Fish? Crabs?

I have never seen anything eat chaeto. It's tough.

I dont think anything will eat that stuff but other fish will eat other macro algea such as Grape and feather calerpa. My tangs eat grape calerpa all the time.

my tangs love chaeto. They look like they are eating spaghetti, it is quite funny to watch.
