There is a local reef store that is going out of business and is offering a great deal on Crystal Sea Marine Mix salt which is what I am using on my 90 gallon tank with great success. My question is if I buy several cases of the salt, provided it stays in a dry climate controlled area, will it go bad or expire?

I don't believe it can go "bad". The only problem would be if it is exposed to contaminants which are inherently harmful. The salt and it's elements are not going to deteriorate, if that's what you're asking.

I have a workshop in the garage that stays dry but in the summer it gets really hot (100 degrees) and in the winter gets down to 20 degrees. Would it be ok to store the sealed bags in there or should it stay in the house where it is a constant temp of around 70 or so?
