Drilled Hole Issue !

I'm thinking that's what I will do. It won't make the overflow box less functional or anything will it? Like less efficient or anything? I'm sorry for all the questions! Thanks!

No it will work just fine. Be sure to seal the corners of the panes. And questions are how we learn
