I am starting a 90 gal tank with a DSB. I just put the sand in 2 days ago. Today I received a shipment of LS from Liverocks.com (they are awesome). The LS looks different from the sand I already have in the tank. Since the DSB isnt seeded yet and isnt doing much of anything yet, should i mix the LS in so it looks good and I dont have that layer or will it over time mix on its own?

It will mix on its own over time. The finer sand will sink to bottom (unless I have it backwards) I would lightly "groom" it though after you put it in.

I saw a few worms and a star (fancy banded serpent star maybe?) as well as other things that I have no idea what they were (one looked like a hairy snail shell, one looked like an urchin, other things are in there moving the sand but I cant see them too well). There is also at least one tiny crab in the tank now too.
