That is not me!!! My anemones are growing, I haven't lost any creature yet, except for 1 snail who "fell and couldn't get up", easy pickings for hermits, maybe it's chance or good decisions. I have derived from my research that some think DSB's are to deep(5-6 inches plus) while others say 3 inches is substantial enough. I've also read " never add hermits to a reef tank".....how many of us have done this? Keeping SW aquarium inhabitants is not yet an exact science. Give it a decade or so?!! I'll research as much as I can, and you all should do the same, which I believe you already do. Good luck and hard work are the way to enjoyment/success.

I've been doing reefs for over 2 decades. I doubt it'll be an exact science in my lifetime.

There are many roads to a successful reef. The more different paths we try the more we learn.
