Evaporation?

OK I have a question about evaporation... So when I top it off what should I be topping off with? Mixed salt water ?? Or freshwater?? Because if you keep adding mixed saltwater to replace the evaporated water wouldn't your salt levels be off the chart? Just a question I wanted to ask and was wondering about.!!

Only top off with freshwater. Only the water evaporates not the salt. So like you said if you keep adding extra salt to the tank, your sg would continue to increase.
