Does Flake food expire? I have a 2 lb bucket that came with my tank used.. I have no Idea how old it is..

Not necessarily. It may loose nutritional value, but only a small amount. Make sure there are no bugs in it, and if there's a sell by date, don't use it if the year is more than 3 yrs ago.

Appears to be ok. Its in a plastic sealed bucket. No Date anywhere... prob need to stop being a tight wad and just buy some new food
