Faint smell in house while cycling tank

I recommended to a customer where I work to cycle his tank with a couple of raw shrimp. After 2 weeks he says there is a faint smell in the house from this. I've never experienced this but what should I tell him to do. Should I tell him to run some GAC to help with the smell? I"m assuming this smell is normal?

if its a slight fishy smell it can be normal. but after two weeks i'm a little surprised he's still getting it. How have the levels been going on the cycle?

It hasn't been 2 weeks I was mistaken. I just thought it might be a little wierd that it smelled throughout the entire house, but I don't see how anything could be wrong.
