Feather Duster Problem

Hi,

I have two large feather dusters - about 3 inches in diameter, and about once every 20 seconds, one of the feather dusters ejects from its crown a small white cylinder (it looks like a little white turd). This little white thing is about 2 millimeters long and about 1mm in diameter. I don't know if these turds are affecting my water quality, but at a rate of one every 20 seconds, you can imagine them becoming quite numerous very quickly. In fact, I just did a thorough gravel vac two days ago, and I already have a small pile of these on my sand bed. Does anyone know what they are and what to do about them?

Thanks

I don't know, the small ones reproduce like crazy in the aquarium, I'm not sure about the larger variety, I've never experienced or heard of it.

I have weird pod-thingies too. I saw a white maggot-looking worm thing expel one and then disappear back into the rock, never to be seen again. My pod-things are not white, though, they are brown.
Any idea?
