Feather Duster Worm - Aquarium Advice

Ok we got our Feather Duster today and when we put it in the tank it started to spit out white stuff. Anyone know what it's doing. Oh and it has two heads.

mine did the exact same thing when i got him hes totally fine now
he wouldnt go in his tube at first i could touch his duster now he quickly retreat ( after 1 week in tank)
