Feeding turbo snail and starfish?

Recently, I've noticed my turbo snail and cc starfish spending more time on the lettuce I put in the tank for my tang. Is there something missing?

they will eat any readily available food. even if there is algae in the tank, if they find a big patch of food, they'll sit there and eat it.

what kind of lettuce are you using, btw? Iceburg (regular lettuce) has very little nutritional value.

Normally, I use Romaine but the last time my wife went to the store she picked up somthing different which the tangs gets after pretty well and the snail and starfish appear to like it also. I almost think it's some kind of cabbage. Long leaf.
