i am currently starting a new 80 gallon reef tank. i bought a remora pro protein skimmer with skimmer and media box. if i have sufficent flow (currently with a 1500 gph pump) would you think thie be sufficient enough for proper filtration??? my media includes bio balls- and acivated carbon

Combine your skimmer with a DSB and 120 to 160 lbs of LR and your filtering needs will be met.

I forgot to mention that you may want to replace your bio-balls with LR rubble instead. It does a better job at reoving nitrate. And most importantly...WELCOME TO AA!!
