Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I am new to the hobby, and have some questions. First, i have a whisper 60 bio filter on my 55g, it works well , but often times I have buildup on the top of the water, and i feel its not doing its job very good, plus, my anemone keeps getting stuck on it, and so did my jellyfish. What kind of system should i use?..my goals are having small amounts of coral, a few fish, some anemones, , ya know, a bright looking heathy aquarium.I also keep having problems with rust color algae, i do regular water changes about once a month, 25% worth usually, giv or take a few. and change my carbon, and wash the filter out . I try and take care of it through that, but it always comes back. I use RO water for my changes.
