Haha that's my shed/storage place. It's supposed to be messy!! Lol

I used oak! I wanted to use maple but they had none left.

How many pounds of liverock should I get? I'm thinking of 50 to 80 pounds.. I can get it from a guy on kijiji. The rocks been in his system for 2 years. He's selling it for $2 a pound.

Hey guys, I need some help on deciding how much LR to put. Would it be okay to put like 60 pounds? Thanks

They say to use 1.25 to 1.75 lb per gallon of water . Going to have a great looking tank .

I think I'm going to go for about 60 pounds of liverock. Hopefully the guy I'm buying the LR from answers his texts or else ill be forced to buy base rock at $3 a pound or $8.95 per pound of LR at my lfs!

And thank you, I hope it turns out amazing too!

I got a few more questions, can I transfer over my coral while I'm cycling? Or will that just kill them?
They're hammer corals, hairy mushrooms, blue mushrooms, frogspawn and Xenia

I'm going to say no on the transfer... However if you must, then the Xenia could probably survive haha

Ah ****. Then I guess I gotta give my corals to my lfs till my cycle is done

No don't transfer nothing until it Cycle is completed . I would Wait for some time after that. To do the transfer . On LR I've got 60 lb LR AND 50 lb DR FOR A 55 gal with a 29 gal fuge

What kind of rock is it? Depending on the density, you might want to get less/more. 1-2 lbs/gallon is good so 60 lbs is in the middle. Seems alright, but depending on the rock that could make it look like too much or too little.

Alright so I kinda messed up on the stain. One part was to dark. So I had to sand it out. Oh well, just delays the project 1-2 days not a big deal.
