Hey Nex here, I've alway liked aquatic life and have always had a freshwater tank. As of lately I've been wanting to try and keep a nano reef tank. So I've been looking around, comparing prices on a nano and just researching. So I was told I can make my own live rock. I'm always up for DIY projects and I'm gonna make the rocks and cure them while I gather my tank and other supplies. Question is for the cement, I have this (picture below) friend said not to use one with silicates he recommended I use a lime base one? What do you guys recommend, it will be rock so I don't want it to mess me up in the long run.
