Nautilus 600 it has three chambers and it the chambers are mostly biological and sponges

Well, canisters aren't really good for saltwater IMO. It will have to be cleaned week or nitrates will build up Aton.

I see, why would nitrates build up? Might be a stupid question but I just want justification

Well, many reasons. Detritus easily gets trapped in there, are creates nitrates. Some of the media traps nitrates, and then they will just build up.

Log fair enough, what filter would you reccomend then wet dry or sump?

A sump would be best. A HOB filter would do too.
