I currently have a 55 gallon saltwater reef tank with a maroon clown, neon dottyback, and a 6 line wrasse. Any suggestions on other fish to add. I was hoping to add a school of 3 fish but don't know what fish to add to the already aggressive tank.

Go with green chromis they school together and are a nice addition to a tank IMO

Pajama cardinals are nice schooling fish.
Will they be ok with the other aggressive fish in the tank though?

It's possible. Just watch the clown. Most people add a pair of percula or ocellaris clowns to their tank since maroon clowns are highly aggressive.

On fish tank kings they were talking about how if its small enough to fit in another fishes mouth it's Probably a not good.
