Fish that swim mid to top of the tank?

Have 2 clowns 2 bangai cardinals, fire fish and a goby. Want something that's more of an active swimmer these just seem to hang out in the rocks

Two things first to answer your question hatchet fish swim literal on the surface. But how big Is your tank and are you talking about clown loaches?

Clown fish need to be keeps in groups of five and need like 150 gallons. Just saw it in a thread today

The poster is asking about saltwater fish not freshwater. Have you looked into chromis? I have blue green chromis that are out at the top a lot.

What size tank? Tangs are extremely active and cover the entite depth range

It's only a 55 I don't have a big enough tank for tangs.
