fish with ich

do fish with ich typically rub thier bodies against rocks?

There are two reasons why fish scratch against rock...parasites (including ich) and dominance...usually seen in tangs. What kind of fish do you have? Are there visual signs of parasites?

I have a royal gramma, and she does have ich. None of my other fish have done this if they have had ich...so I was just curious. Thanks.

Fish will do this from time to time, with no parasite even. Just keep an eye on them and don't take action unless you see visible symptoms also - such as spots. It may also be a sign to increase the water quality - water changes will lower chances of infections or bacteria.
