Flame Angelfish Information

Any of you guys ever kept any flame angels? they look pretty hot but i hear that the angels are hard fish to keep.

As with any fish, make sure he eats before you take him home.

The angels I've kept have been healthy, but their personality is a little distrustful, it seems. I like tangs and they're not as friendly as tangs, but a flame looks good in any tank.

do you think it would fight with a maroon clown? and i read they eat lettuce so would they eat up the marcoalgae?

dont feed it lettuce.

feed it nori or algae sheets instead. it should also take flake food and prepaired meaty foods.

Flame's as with other dwarf angels are known to sometimes take a liking to soft tissue corals. Just be aware of this possibility.

my flame does well with all the others... I've been told that once acclimated, they are pretty hardy... gorgeous fish he is...
