If I recall correctly, By the looks of your photo you have them kissing the window so you get plenty of sunlight right? Mine would be in a fairly dark room so Ill need to get some lighting. I guess if you want to lower your nitrates you got to pay in one way or another.

BTW you like Shirlock Holmes? The movie is comming out and it looks awsome!!! Check it!
 
My tank is on a north facing window and gets very little light. The sump area is lit on a reverse lighting system and gets it's light that way.
Thanks for the heads up on the Sherlock movie!!!
