I have a standard 55 gallon with two hydor korelia 850's in it but can't seem to get rid of dead spots. Should this be enough flow and I just suck at directing them right - or do I need another wave maker? Also, I have a pom pom xenia that seems to be struggling after getting pushed over into the sand (it's on a plug). I shook all the sand loose that I could but it still looks kind of sad. Should I put it in a high flow area, or is it better in low/med while it hopefully tries to re upgrade?

I would keep adjusting your powerheads to try to get the flow right.
As for the xenia, try to get it into a lower flow area is if is being pushed around.
