I was wondering if I could re-use my foam filter after using copper (Cupramine) in my quarantine tank. Is there a way to clean it and get all the copper out so if I use it with inverts or put it in my main tank sump to recolonize bacteria it wont kill my inverts/live rock???

Or should I buy a new one each time???

Thanks

Honestly, I think it would be ok if it were rinsed/soaked for long enough, but for the cost of a new one (few bucks) I would buy a new one. If nothing else, it would give me piece of mind.
