just my novice opinion, but i think the 75 is better for your sump anyway,

speaking of sumps.... i think ill try to make a little more headway on mine.

Id say surface area is prob the second most important factor next to flowrate

I was hoping for a lil higher. My marineland 1050's put out 350, not really worth it for another 100 gph total ya know

Yeah, they compare those two. Say the 802's had better flow. But I feel u. If u know anyone that wants them, $35 for the pair + shipping...

here is where im at.... started striping the seals out of the old 55g tank we had laying around. wish the 75g dt seals came out that easy.

measured 14" up from the bottom. marked lines


cut the silicone between panels just above my line.



took my $4 glass cutter. and went to work. first cut


second cut going good.


third cut....


look up around the corner and see sweety pie hiding a grin.

so it looks like im in the market for a new tank to use for a sump.
