frozen food?

I've never really heard anyone talk about this but are you suppose to thaw out the cubes or just throw them in the tank? Im feeding a yellow tang and a O. clown in a 125gal with ocean nutrition fomula two. TIA.

I thaw mine in tank water before I feed.

I rinse mine in RO/DI water, add selcon and vita-chem them feed to the tank.

Yup thaw it out and then rinse it off ... it washes away all that muck they use to gel it up!!!

You need to thaw it before feeding. It is my understanding that if it is not thawed first it can actually cause freezer burn to the fish when he tries to eat it.
